Community Rules

Brain Rumble is about friendly competition. These rules keep display names, gift messages and replies safe for everyone.

What other players can see

Other players can see your display name and avatar. When you send a gift, the recipient sees its title and message along with your name, and if they reply, you see the reply. Quick chat in Live games uses preset messages only. Support messages and report notes go only to our team.

Not allowed

These rules apply to every display name, gift title, gift message and reply, including on paid gifts. The following are not allowed:

  • Profanity, insults, hate speech or discrimination.
  • Harassment, bullying or threats.
  • Sexual content or sexual advances.
  • Anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers children. We have zero tolerance for this.
  • Sharing contact details or asking for them: phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links or social media accounts.
  • Offering or asking for gifts in exchange for romantic or sexual favors, or pressuring anyone to send a gift.
  • Spam, advertising or scams.
  • Pretending to be another player, a well-known person or the Brain Rumble team.
  • Anything illegal.

Before your text is sent

The first time you write your own gift message or a reply, or change your display name, the game shows the Community Rules and asks you to accept the Terms of Service. If the Terms change, you may be asked again.

We automatically check display names, your own gift titles and messages, and replies for profanity and contact details (phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links and social media handles). If something is found, the text isn't sent and you can change it. For gifts, this check happens before you pay. You can also pick one of the Quick Messages instead of writing your own.

No filter catches everything, which is why reports matter.

Report a player

  1. Open the gift message, the reply or the player's profile.
  2. Tap Report and choose a reason: harassment or bullying, sexual content, child safety, spam or advertising, or other.
  3. Add a short note if you like, then tap Send.

Reporting a player also blocks them. Our team reviews reports as soon as possible. Please report only content or behavior that breaks these rules.

If you think someone may be in danger, or a child is involved, also email info@ipekgames.com with the subject “Safety report”. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Block a player

Tap Block on a gift message, a reply or a player's profile, or when you decline a friend request.

A block works both ways: you can't send each other gifts, gift replies or friend requests, and if you're friends, the friendship ends. Live games are only between friends, and a block also stops Ghost Runs between you, so you won't play each other.

Blocks can't be undone in the game. If you blocked someone by mistake, contact us through Settings > Support or by email and we'll look into it.

What happens after a report

Our team reviews each report and, depending on what happened, may:

  • Hide the message from the player who received it.
  • Stop the player from writing their own text: custom gift messages, replies and name changes.
  • Reset an inappropriate display name.

Serious or repeated violations may lead to further action under our Terms of Service. Paid gifts are not exempt from these rules, and hiding a message doesn't take back the gift's rewards. If your ability to write is restricted, you can ask us through Settings > Support for the reason and for a review by a person. We may reply to you in the game, in News.

Gifts

Gifts are bought with real money through Google Play or the App Store and can be sent to any player, with a Quick Message or one you write yourself. The recipient sees your display name and avatar. Refunds are requested by the buyer from the store they paid through. If a gift can't be delivered (for example, because one of you has blocked the other) or the recipient's account is deleted before they claim it, it comes back to you in the game.

Never send a gift because someone pressured you or promised something in return. If that happens, report them.

How long we keep messages

Gift messages, replies, reports and support messages are kept for up to 2 years for safety and legal reasons, then deleted. Our team uses them to review reports and answer support requests. When a player's account is permanently deleted, the gift messages and replies they sent are hidden from the players who received them; our stored copy is still deleted on the same schedule. See our Privacy Policy for details.

A gift's title and message also stay in the buyer's purchase record, which we keep for 10 years from the purchase.

Stay safe

  • Keep personal details to yourself: your phone number, address, passwords and social media accounts.
  • We will never ask for your password or payment card details.
  • If someone makes you uncomfortable, block or report them.
